Our summer internship program is designed to give eager and curious classroom students a chance to try out the marketing industry! Our students are invited to apply and interview for an 8-week internship opportunity at one of our local partner agencies. In 2007, we hired 1 intern from our classroom program. In 2018, we’ll hire 70!
Each summer, along with working on-site at a marketing agency or corporation, our interns complete a total of 60 hours of paid training where we bring industry professionals in to run trainings on all aspects of marketing, personal coaches to help them create their personal brand and staff from our college partners to build hirability skills. We are proud to offer our interns a 360-degree circle of support through a robust network of industry professionals!
Hosting and supervising an intern is one of the most meaningful ways that companies, agencies and volunteers can get involved with The BrandLab. A summer work experience with The BrandLab truly has a positive impact on the lives of our students. The on-time high school graduation rate for Twin Cities high-schoolers is 77%, whereas The BrandLab interns far exceed the average at 99%!
