About The Role

Entry-level account service role within our creative agency, providing day-to-day support to account leader on specified accounts, and to broader teams —creative, digital, strategy. This client service role involves support on projects from inception to implementation — managing project details and deliverables, helping to manage budgets, creating efficiencies and optimization of projects and team and client communications.

REPORT TO Account Supervisor/Director

– full-time, exempt
– in-office role, with some flexibility
– year-round summer hour Fridays (off at 1:00pm on Fridays unless meetings/workload requires different)
– medical insurance (premium 80% paid by Kick) + ability to opt in to voluntary dental insurance

1. Support supervisor
– Demonstrating competency, show you can take tasks off of their desk and deliver
2. Team communications
– Internal meeting project status notes/reports
– When mastery shown, expand into client call reports and tactic status updates
3. Client mastery
– Dig in deep and understand all aspects of a client’s business
– Understand business goals and objectives
– Competitive landscape audits
– Understand role of research and different types
– Marketplace shifts and implications
– Learn & understand clients’ audiences
– Understand client budget reporting needs
4. Agency mastery
– Understand and learn brand + communications strategy from supervisor
– Understand and learn tactic differences and how to implement/activate
– Help supervisor build project scope and estimate documents
– Help build “Creative Briefs” with supervisor — learning format and filling in specific sections
– Build “Job Form” direction for supervisor approval, share with team
– Understand what timing a project/tactic takes — developing timelines
– Understand deliverable expectations — client due dates, material close dates, printer timelines, proof reviews, proofing, etc.
– Wrangle and own details for a project, gather client assets, share with team, help manage on server
5. Develop internal team relationships
– Build team trust and confidence in capabilities
– Help broader team’s needs be communicated to supervisor and possibly client
6. Develop client relationships
– Communicate with clients on specific project details
– Show mastery of the details to give clients confidence in abilities
– With mastery, bigger communications opportunities with client given
7. Listening, learning, supporting, client service
