About The Role

The Account Manager has the energy and enthusiasm to bring ideas to life with a desire to learn more about communications strategy & development. The Account Manager is a client-facing role responsible for coordinating the agency process from end-to-end on key assigned brands to meet client and agency objectives. This includes supporting all aspects of the communications development process and execution of the communication plans.

We work a hybrid schedule with 3 days in our downtown Minneapolis office and 2 days remote (if desired) each week. Only local candidates, or those willing to re-locate to the Twin Cities, will be considered.

Responsibilities Include:
• Support Account Supervisors/Directors in all aspects of communication development and production & execution of
• Represent clients to internal teams on assigned projects and have ownership of tactical initiatives from start to finish
depending on experience and ability.
• Collaborate with project management to work with wider agency team and resources to deliver projects on time and on
• Lead weekly status meetings and maintain internal and client-facing status sheets of all relevant projects and updates.
• Coordinate client meetings and provide recaps of key discussion topics and next steps.
• Manage the financial process including estimate review and approvals, tracking budgets, billing and invoicing.
• Manage legal, traffic and network clearance in partnership with production and media teams to ensure assets are delivered
on time and to spec.
• Monitor competitive activity preparing ongoing reports and annual competitive reviews to share with clients.

Required Skills/Experience:
• This is an entry level position so while previous ad agency experience is a plus (ie an internship), what’s most important is
a positive attitude with a curiosity and a passion to learn
• Self-starter with attention to detail
• Professional and clear communicator
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to travel for client meetings when applicable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
