For over 29 years Art Buddies has brought joyful and free one-to-one creative mentorship to thousands of children at Twin Cities’ highest need schools and communities.
Art Buddies is Creative Mentors Helping Kids Build Dreams!
We are in need of mentors with all kinds of backgrounds to work one-on-one with students from the highest need communities around the twin cities. Schools include Hall, Lucy Laney, Bancroft, Whittier and Ella Baker.
Time commitment is once a week during the school term for 8-10 weeks. (see exact times below).
Character Creation Program – Fall 2023
Our mentors and students work together to create a one-of-a-kind character and costume based on the child’s imagination and values — along the way, we spark imagination and build confidence. With the help and guidance from their creative mentors, kids are able to build a foundation of confidence in creativity.
