What you’ll be doing:

Provide marketing direction and oversight for the execution of long and short-term marketing strategies that advance organizational objectives. Serve as corporate branding and customer experience leader. Direct marketing strategies and strategic marketing programs for retention, demand creation, and lead generation. Establish and execute metrics for tracking marketing performance. Develop and deliver innovative ideas and concepts to engage and target current and potential customers of CM Group family company’s. Lead team to execute marketing efforts, including corporate positioning, market and competitive analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans, and related product positioning. Supervisor responsibilities to include staffing, training and development, performance management, and work force planning.

On any given day, you’ll:

Supervisor/Manager responsibilities may include all of the following:
o Staffing needs, to include interviewing and onboarding for new employees.
o Training and development, as well as coaching and motivation for staff.
o Performance Management, goal setting, employee engagement, and salary administration.
o Workforce Management to include unit equipment, software, space needs, approving time off and overtime usage, and budget recommendations.
• Lead efforts related to customer experience across the organization, including feedback analysis, customer behaviors, and trends to grow new business and drive existing customer loyalty and retention
• Prepare, plan and develop annual marketing budget.
• Develop the strategies and leverage resources needed to successfully advance the awareness, understanding, strength and commitment to our brands to build credibility and confidence while also enriching the customer experience.
• Develop digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels to align with marketing strategy and optimize customer experience.
• Establish and measure return on investment for various marketing activities.
• Measure and monitor revenue resulting from Marketing driven lead generation.
• Partner with Direct Sales and Broker Distribution, working in tandem to ensure alignment to help achieve and exceed policyholder retention and growth, and new business development goals.
• Manage marketing priorities and resources in alignment withmarketing budget.
• Oversee and maintain CM Group family of company’s brand architecture and corporate identity, assuring adherence and cohesion of brand identity and voice across all channels.
• Direct and collaborate within creative guidelines, and budget to deliver marketing programs across multiple channels, media, and touchpoints.
• Direct marketing communications and operations including collateral, sales materials, thought leadership, whitepapers, webinars, social media content, risk control tools and resources, tradeshows, and events.

Here’s what we expect:

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in marketing, communications, and strategy.
• Four-year college degree required. Major in communication, business, marketing, or related field preferred. Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years work experience related to customer experience. Knowledge and experience in understanding “the customer journey” to achieve a customer experience vision, including key benchmarks and measures of success required.
• Proficiency in budgeting tools and proven budget planning expertise.
• Demonstrated ability in ROI calculations.
• Experience and hands-on working knowledge of marketing, branding, advertising, and digital platforms; self-starter with integrated marketing skill set and ability to implement initiatives in a strategic manner with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to identify key insights by connecting disparate information sources.
• Proficient in using marketing related software.
• Able to adapt in fast paced environment.
• Balanced disposition while interacting with people both internally and externally.
• Advanced communication skills, including technical knowledge in both written and verbal formats, across media, digital, and traditional channels.
• Demonstrated analytical/problem solving and leadership/supervisory and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated results-oriented leadership focus.
• Occasional travel may be required.
