About The Role

A digital savant and curious-minded constant learner who enjoys the challenge of understanding complex design problems and writing code to solve them.
What you’ll do:
-Support the senior creative technologist in coding semantic and ADA compliant websites and landing pages
-Test websites for quality assurance and evaluate code for bug fixes
-Code and test responsive HTML email newsletters
-Maintain and update website content, CMS versions and plugins
-Willingness to assist digital producers in digital production tasks as needed. This could include: annotating designs, contributing to creation of technical requirements, URL management, QA of styling & content, and/or other digital production tasks as needed
Job requirements:
-1+ years web development experience, in an agency-setting is a plus
-Experience writing modular and scalable code with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
-Experience with custom WordPress themes
-Solid understanding of basic web design and development principles
-A desire to learn and implement new technologies
-Knowledge of website accessibility best practices
-Experience with SVN systems like Git
-A portfolio of web development projects you’ve worked on
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
