About The Role

Brand Strategists are researchers, observers and writers who are relentless in the pursuit of finding solutions for both big and small challenges. They’re at home diving into how people think, unpacking cultural and category nuance, and finding whitespace opportunities for our clients. At SixSpeed, they work closely with every team at the agency to bring purpose, clarity, and a people-first perspective to help adventurous brands live in a category of one.

Write clear and inspiring creative briefs with a people-first perspective and collaborate with the creative team to support and strengthen ideas
Develop research plans, write discussion guides, and conduct in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, consumers, and dealers to uncover unique insights
Gain understanding of our client’s target audiences and develop consumer segmentation with emphasis on psychographic nuance
Work hand-in-hand with the Connection Strategy team to create consumer decision journeys, and help inform communications plans such as go-to-market strategies, campaign strategies and channel strategies
Continuously build your expertise in culture and our client’s industries
Be a student of the marketing and strategy landscape to proactively discover industry best practices and unique marketing strategies
Assist in the creation and iteration of SixSpeed’s strategic frameworks, processes and capabilities
Analyze data to make informed strategic decisions and clear recommendations
Present insights, marketing strategies, and completed work to internal teams and clients.
Partner with Creative, Connection, and XC teams to provide strategic feedback to project executions
Assist in the development and execution of SixSpeed marketing and content planning
Support Director of Strategy and other stakeholders in new business efforts with strategic approaches and relationship development
Make Help inform and make decisions on project approach, resourcing, and timing
Prioritize diversity and inclusion, especially when working with external and internal partners

You have 2-5 years of experience in research and strategy preferably in a creative marketing agency
Endlessly curious about people, culture, and context
Empathetic, observant and extremely attentive to the small details
Obsessed with research and unsatisfied with going one layer deep
A strong writer who takes pride in brevity and simplicity
A flexible and critical thinker able to identify and solve complex problems
Able to effectively communicate the value of strategy, our approach, and capabilities to both clients, partners, and coworkers
Confident in understanding of strategic frameworks, how to apply them, and the ability to effectively teach them to others
Strong presentation skills and ability to effectively present work internally and externally
