We’re seeking a skilled Content Strategist and Planner to join our team at Ingredient. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in developing clear and engaging content strategies and plans consistent with our clients’ brand objectives and business goals. Your expertise in editorial and content planning, coupled with strong analytical skills, will drive the creation and management of monthly, and quarterly content strategies. Collaborating closely with Brand, Account, and Creative teams, you’ll lead content strategy discussions and ensure alignment with clients’ priorities, KPIs, and data-driven insights. Who You Are

Experience creating comprehensive digital strategy plans for multichannel execution
Experience with editorial and content planning for owned media
Experience planning for paid media a plus
Experience pulling platform data and developing insights
Ability to produce Reels and TT videos a plus
Self starter and problem solver – brings solutions to the table
Detail oriented with great organizational skills
Curious and open to new ideas
Impeccable communication skills – both written and verbal
Works well on a team
Process-driven and constantly looking for ways to streamline
Enjoy the fast-paced nature of working at an agency
Understand the importance of urgency and follow-through and have exceptional time-management skill

What You’ll Do:

Platform Optimizations:
Strategize content for new business clients informed by client priorities and KPIs, trends, social listening, and data-based insights – also platform optimizations across channels (email, CMS, Facebook, Instagram, stories, Pinterst, YouTube, TikTok, paid media, and emerging platforms)
Conduct content format, competitor and industry research, and make recommendations based on discovery
Assist in informing agency point of view on emerging social media trends and practices
Educate agency members on social media trends and practices

Content Planning:
Manage editorial and content calendar
Lead monthly planning brainstorm sessions
Plan content informed by client priorities and KPIs, trends, social listening, and data-based insights – also platform optimizations across channels (email, CMS, Facebook, Instagram, stories, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, paid media, and emerging platforms)
Pull and analyze reporting across all channels on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis with the campaign manager. Analysis will include content format and channel testing recommendations
Publishing support on client CMS and social media CRMs like Sprout, Later, and native apps

Creative:
Create content for social media platforms (i.e 9:16 videos, trending posts, graphics, music, copy)
Hold regular meetings to assist the creative team with adjusting with emerging trends
Review and proofread copy with special attention to SEO, keywords, hashtags and platform publishing updates

Paid Media (a plus!):
Create social media advertising campaigns
Optimize ads through researching trending channels or emerging formats
Refine social media audience targeting through testing and experiments
Track KPIs that align with client priorities
Collect/create assets as necessary
Create, manage, and report on influencer related campaigns
Affiliate strategy/experience a plus

Annual Salary
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the salary range for this position is $60,000 – $70,000, exclusive of benefits mentioned above. Your compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.
