Banner is looking for a Digital Analyst to join our marketing team. As a Digital Analyst at Banner, you will be primarily focused on analyzing and providing recommendations for high-performing, customer-driven experiences, as well as developing stories with data that help internal stakeholders identify and solve business needs. Position Summary

To support key business initiatives by generating insights from data and communicating opportunities or issues; to collaborate with the digital agile, global marketing, data, product, and sales teams to tell data stories in a way that helps drive strategy by partnering closely with these teams and thinking quickly and creatively about ways to measure and assess opportunities.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborates with the web product owner, designers, and developers to provide analytic insight on customer behavior, understand new features, and monitor post-launch behavior
  • Collects and understands business requirements by meeting with Marketing, Sales, Product teams, and other stakeholders on an ongoing basis
  • Identifies and prioritizes the highest impact business opportunities, gathers and analyzes available data, and helps our teams make data-driven decisions
  • Develops, measures, and analyzes key performance measurements that provide insight into business objectives and gauges success of our digital and integrated programs
  • Creates insightful dashboards and data visualizations to help teams shape their activities and makes decisions that lead to the greatest impact
  • Implements self-service reporting for key stakeholders; designs effective and impactful reports and visualizations for business and technical audiences
  • Designs and executes A/B and multivariate tests to optimize the customer experience and improves KPIs; analyzes results to provide insights and recommendations on improving the customer experience and turn insight(s) into action
  • Reports outcomes and analysis of integrated campaigns to Marketing, Sales, Product Management, and management teams
  • Mentors team members to develop in-house capabilities in analytics disciplines
  • Recommends and shapes the technology we use to analyze and gain better insight into our performance
  • Gathers web analytics tagging requirements for digital experience enhancements that allow for proper data and insights to be captured and analyzed

Qualifications

Experience

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or similar field

5 years: • Experience in a similar role

3-5 years: • Digital media analysis experience

2 years: • Experience using Google Analytics

• Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams

• Experience identifying patterns in and analyzing digital customer behavior patterns

• An eye for content and design with an interest in and consideration of the user experience

• Experience balancing analytic fact-finding, intuition, and storytelling

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically the ability to use complex formulas and pivot tables

• Strong communication skills and a mastery of presentation tools to present technical concepts in a visually appealing and informative format
