About The Role
MONO is on a mission to make legendary work that works. We are seeking an ambitious and innovation-driven Integrated Media Director (IMD) to join our team and help drive that mission for our clients. This is an awesome opportunity to join a boutique creative agency and grow a bespoke media offering, focusing on overseeing full funnel, cross-channel media strategies.
The Integrated Media Director at MONO possesses an audience-first philosophy, bolstered by an integrated media background, balanced by the ability to seamlessly lead a cross-functional media team. The role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining client relationships and strategic development of media plan recommendations via research, historical client-based knowledge, and collaboration within the cross-functional agency team. The IMD will partner closely with the Business Development team on new business efforts as well.
This unique role will report to the Co-Head of Strategy @ MONO with a dotted line into the Brand Experience Lead @ Assembly. Their brand assignments will come solely from MONO and our client roster, but the IMD will serve as a strategic lead for a team of buyers, planners and analysts within Assembly to help deliver on the day-to-day work.
The ideal candidate has led high-profile, national accounts and has built trusted relationships with their senior-most client partners. Also critical, experience architecting inspiring and persuasive stories/presentations that illustrate the power of our ideas and solutions.
8+ years of professional media experience is required, with the bulk of it being in an agency setting. Our search is focused on candidates with digital media expertise and a national media buying background. This is a locally-based role, where relocation will be required for candidates living outside of the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. We currently observe a hybrid work model. We work onsite every Tuesday and Wednesday for Work From MONO (WFM) days for the purpose of fostering agency connection. Travel is required.
