Folklore’s Project Managers are insanely talented and driven to manage interactive projects from inception to implementation. You will work closely with project teams, account leads and our clients to efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources across multiple projects. You can be counted on to manage client expectations, schedules, budgets, assets and scopes while having a keen understanding of when to escalate support needs. Who you are:

What you bring to the table:
– 1-2 years of digital project management experience. You are confident and comfortable with basic interactive projects and are excited to take direction and learn new skills quickly.
– A familiarity with Google apps or other collaboration tools, as well with one or more project management systems (e.g. Monday, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira).
– Experience using traditional project management methodologies (such as those promoted by PMI) to manage digital projects. Related experience should include schedule building, budget tracking, stakeholder communication and other related activities.
– Familiarity of Agile principles and methodologies. Experience using these methodologies to manage projects or teams is a plus.
– An interest in digital products and experiences, and a curiosity about the technologies used to build them.
– The ability to guide internal teams from project kick-off to completion.
– An ability to motivate, support and understand your teams. You can easily work with everyone–from visual designers to tech developers to content strategists.
– Excellent presentation and communication skills. You must be able to clearly communicate the goals of the client and the ideas behind our solutions.

Key responsibilities:
– Support end-to-end project management for Folklore’s portfolio of client assignments, including but not limited to: website builds and optimization, interactive tools, custom solution builds, social media marketing, site UX and visual design services.
– Collaborate with project management and account leads to develop project strategies and plans, and identify the methods and tools required for the project.
– Identify and communicate how decisions or changes could affect priority, scope and timeline to clients and internal teams.
– Monitor progress and budget against plan.
– Contribute content and documentation for internal and client meetings, ensuring key decisions and action items are clearly communicated.
– Communicate across teams and ensure all members are aware of delegated tasks.
– Collaborate with cross functional teams to balance workloads and prioritize requests for concepting, strategy, messaging, website, applications, print collateral jobs, digital and video jobs when necessary.
– Drive project delivery to be on-time and on-budget while ensuring quality standards are met.
– Identify potential risks or roadblocks and act proactively to resolve issues.

Reporting structure:
– This position reports to the Associate Director of Project Management.

Working conditions:
– Expectation to work in a hybrid role from a home office in the Minneapolis area (or surrounding areas) and report to the St. Louis Park office two days a week.
