About The Role

As an experienced Editor, you’ll put your knack for powerful storytelling to work creating and editing video for broadcast, social, web and other digital and interactive media. You’re equally adept at assembling assets for a senior editor as you are at going deep into a creative edit. We are looking for someone who’s passionate about driving transformational connections through their work, and fueled by solving challenges creatively.

THE TASK AT HAND
Identify project requirements and help secure resources to meet project objectives and deadlines
Organize, prioritize and multitask an edit with the ability to pivot and shift gears quickly as needed
Edit content using software including Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects Davinci Resolve.
Help manage the post-production workflow process
Create basic graphics and onscreen elements to enhance an edit
Demonstrate a basic understanding of music, sound mixing, and color correction. Experience with color grading is a plus
Follow a script, screenplay or outline to assemble footage into thoughtful edit that achieves the project goals
Work closely with creative directors, art directors and producers to create and present a final product that matches the creative vision
Own and develop a strong rapport with clients and team members as a subject matter expert and authority within video production and editing
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, enthusiasm, self-motivation, resourcefulness, grit, conceptual judgment and drive for results in a fast-paced environment
Stay abreast on the most current developments, trends, techniques, editing technology and equipment in the industry
Prioritize diversity and inclusion, especially when working with external and internal partners

WHO ARE YOU
You have 2-5 years experience producing edits for social media, broadcast, and alike
You’re a creative thinker, natural problem solver and technically inclined
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
You have an eye for the finer details of creative work
You exemplify dynamism; flexing between the big picture and small details
