About The Role

Wallin is looking for a committed and creative individual to support our Marketing and Communications efforts as a graphic designer. This role reports to the Associate Director of Marketing.

> Primary Roles & Responsibilities

Marketing (50%)

· Provide day-to-day support for the Marketing team and the Senior Marketing Manager.
· Design graphics for email, website, print, events, and social media.
· Collaborate across the organization to provide designs for various projects.
· Create and maintain a robust photo and video library for the organization.
· Maintain a strong and consistent brand across channels.

Communications (50%)

· Schedule and post compelling social media posts.
· Prepare high-impact content for newsletters and emails for scholars, alumni, and donors.
· Update website with meaningful illustrations and content.
· Capture and edit photos and videos for use in our communications.
· Plan and create content for several different channels.
· Other duties as assigned.

> Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Creative Skills
Proven skills in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, Creative Cloud, or other Graphic Design tools.

Communication Skills
Effective at communicating in written and verbal form. Ability to plan and write emails, messages, newsletters, social media posts, and content.

Design Background
Bachelor’s degree in design or similar field
1-3 years of graphic design experience
Strong portfolio or examples of work

> Preferred Qualifications & Experience

Web Design Experience
Website Builders like Wix, Squarespace, Weebly, Webflow, CSS/HTML, or others.

Photography or Videography Experience
Taking or Editing Photos, Filming or Editing Video (iMovie, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or others)
