About The Role

Ever-Green Energy is looking for a marketing team member to develop and implement projects to promote Ever-Green and its affiliates through content and digital marketing, graphic design, and project management. If this sounds like you, you may be the right candidate for our Marketing and Communications Generalist role.

Minimum requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, environmental or natural sciences, or related field and at least five years of experience in marketing and communications; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Demonstrated success in leading content and digital marketing initiatives, graphic design projects, and contributing to marketing strategies, preferably for B2B audiences and in an energy, engineering, science, or technical field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Manage and contribute to a content calendar including creating engaging and relevant newsletters, blogs, posts, graphics, and press releases that attract target audiences and apply key messages in company tone and voice.

2. Write and design business development and sales materials such as proposals, reports, briefs, presentations, and handouts through drafting tailored messages, editing, and proofing as well as graphic design layout and production in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Word.

3. Develop and implement digital marketing strategies for web, email, and social that align with company and team goals. Strategies will target key audiences, apply market and channel research and analysis, and use effective tactics to reach identified audiences.

4. Support company websites including contributing strategy and content; facilitating regular content and software updates; and optimizing website content and structure for improved user experience and search engine optimization.

5. Manage marketing projects including facilitating kick off, goal setting and team alignment, facilitating review from multiple stakeholders, managing vendors, and tracking milestones and deadlines.

6. Support customer care and engagement efforts for the company’s client and utility customers, including communications, outreach, and events.

7. Contribute to a team environment of quality and growth by staying informed on current best practices for marketing, digital channels, and audience management, as well as suggesting, documenting, and implementing process improvements.

8. Learn, apply, and enforce brand standards for Ever-Green and its affiliate companies, and manage visual assets including logos, templates, and visual assets.

9. Plan and prepare customer and visitor events, conferences and expos, receptions, and other special events. Contribute to team efforts to have a company presence in community and stakeholder processes, meetings, and events.

10. Builds and nurtures an external network of individuals and organizational contacts to support the ongoing success and future growth of Ever-Green Energy and its affiliates.

11. Supports the employee volunteer community relations program.

12. Support the communications and marketing needs of other internal teams, including participation in internal communications efforts.

13. Complete marketing and communications administrative projects, including mailings, management of department supplies, and vendor payments.

14. Carry out other projects and special assignments as requested.
