About The Role

What you’ll do… :
The Marketing Manager of Paid Search will lead, develop, recommend, and implement client acquisition strategies for the Paid Search channel across key H&R Block brands and products. This role is responsible for optimizing a sizeable marketing budget and will be held accountable for channel level KPIs and acquisition goals.


Implement Paid Search marketing campaigns in partnership with an external agency.
Ensure all marketing campaigns adhere to overall corporate strategy and objectives while tracking toward key KPIs.
Responsible and accountable for a paid media budget and the results of that budget, including revenue and client growth.
Be a strong voice and thought leader in the Paid Search space, ensuring H&R Block is capitalizing on new industry trends.
Regularly report on the performance of marketing initiatives to Senior Leadership, including observations, insights, and recommendations for enhancements to approve overall effectiveness.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders on audience segmentation and tracking strategies.
Work closely with outside agencies to develop channel strategy, including key word targeting, in-market timing, and messaging.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Deep knowledge of Paid Search with at least 4+ years of experience managing Paid Search
Broad-based knowledge of AdTech/MarTech platforms with experience in media measurement
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to established timeframes
Ability to balance short and long-term priorities
Outstanding communication skills across all levels of the organization, including VP and above
Demonstrated analytical skills, use of data to drive decision-making, and crafting data into a meaningful channel-level story.
Budget management experience
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Experience with Fintech and Financial Services Marketing strategies
5-7 years consumer marketing experience with 4+ years of directly managing the paid search channel
What you’ll bring to the team… :
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.
