About The Role
Candidates must be located within a commutable radius of Milwaukee, WI or Green Bay, WI.
Responsible for the development and execution of marketing plans and tactics for the Consumer & Small Business Segment, this individual will leverage thorough knowledge of the functional areas involved, the competitive environment, and leading marketing practices within the space. They will work directly with the senior leadership of the segment to understand their priorities and strategic objectives, situational opportunities, goals, and financials to provide timely collaboration for their initiatives and market opportunities. Key responsibilities also include managing the development and tracking of goals and objectives for individual initiatives and working with internal partners to correlate marketing programs with functional unit goals and objectives.
To be successful in this role, the individual will need to possess a practical understanding of the area supported (at an industry and market level) and be able to quickly identify marketing opportunities that support unit objectives, including – practical understanding of products, services or solutions provided, the functional unit’s incentive structure, market conditions, competition, etc. They will also need to have proven aptitude and success in the development, management, and execution of the tactical plans, campaigns, promotions, and programs that are developed in support of annual business objectives; have the ability to balance competing priorities and changing conditions across the regional footprint of the organization; and manage against budgetary limitations. To accomplish these goals, the individual will need to develop and maintain strong relationships across a wide range of constituents, including segment leaders, front-line colleagues, and internal partners including Public Relations, Operations/IT, Legal/Compliance and the other Marketing support functions (Creative Services, research, analysis, tracking and reporting, e-Commerce, etc.).
Assist in the development and implementation of effective annual marketing plans for the assigned business units that support their annual objectives and goals.
Discover customer insights and industry trends that lead thought-leadership initiatives which translate to effective marketing efforts. Develop content to bring brand strategy and value proposition to market with most relevant touch points.
Working with key partners, facilitate and oversee the analysis of the customer/client and prospect universe within assigned business units in order to provide strategic insight and market opportunities for the lines of business: Identify and target optimal prospects and customers; Execute marketing promotions that deliver against financial and production expectations; Manage marketing programs to capitalize on identified opportunities; Utilize market research to inform lines of business as to customer priorities and market opportunities
Ensure channel message integrity for all lines of business, ensuring continuity of message and focus.
Generate voice of customer and customer insights, measure marketing efforts and identify ways to continuously drive marketing effectiveness across initiatives. Consistently measure and communicate performance tied to business results.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related experience
7-10 years marketing experience, either within a mid-tier financial services company or equivalent marketing experience in a related industry (advertising, market research, etc.) Required
4-7 years’ experience in the creation, development, execution, and tracking of holistic marketing programs. Required
