MEDIA PLANNING SUPERVISOR
Media Bridge Advertising is an agency in Minneapolis, MN, that combines media buying and creative services to help clients of all sizes grow and win. We are seeking a Media Planning Supervisor to join our team. The Media Planning Supervisor will play a vital role in media planning, strategy and execution.

JOB DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS
Help train the Assistant Media Planner by ensuring they are set up with the appropriate programs and files and that deadlines are clear and feasible
Budget and Billing
Partner with Assistant Media Planner to ensure budget/billing documents are complete and accurate, analyze and review competitive reports as well as ensures that flowcharts are up-to-date
Own target analysis & creation of Media Plan metrics (R/F, CPM, Costing, etc) and review media plans and recommendations with Media Planning Director, account teams and clients
Media Planning and Execution
Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring both Traditional (TV, Radio, OOH, etc) media plans and digital campaigns across assigned brands including maintaining accurate documentation (especially financial) and plan evolutions of requested and recommended revisions
Author or support in authoring documents related to the plan (i.e., media briefs, RFPs recommendations, etc.)
Assists in developing buying strategies to maximizing media value and impact while supporting media negotiations
Compiles and provides digital specs to creative teams (client specific)
Writes POVs as needed and evaluate new technology, innovation and/or opportunities
Client & Internal Relationships
Supports day-to-day client interactions
Helps manages client expectations and deliverables
Works closely with the teams (Analytics, Account, Data Analysis) to improve performance and resolve issues.
Participates, if appropriate, in face-to-face client and vendor meetings
Builds positive relationships with internal and external teams and sets good example for Assistant.
Strategic Thinking & Leadership
Works with management team (Strategy, Revenue and Media) to support development of media plans/buy strategies
Shares new and relevant opportunities in written and verbal form to the group or client
Strategizes ways to use dollars most effectively to the clients’ greatest benefit.
Assesses problems and concerns in a systematic, logical, and rational manner
Proactively resolves issues, know when to and to whom to escalate
Works with Media Planning Director to develop management skills while overseeing and training junior staff
Excels at time management and managing multiple deliverables while assuring projects are completed on time and adhered to (within) budget
Expresses oneself clearly and concisely in oral communications
Writes in a clear, compelling, and concise manner
Organizes ideas and information logically and sequentially
Develop client documents that are clear, compelling, and persuasive
3 years Traditional and media planning experience, including at least 1 year focused within Digital
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets
Proficient in advanced Excel functions and formulas to perform VLOOKUP, pivot tables, charts, graphs, and data capture & analysis
Proficiency in media tools including Vivvex, Telmar, MRISimmons, etc.
Creates clear goals, identifies and finds the resources (e.g., time, people, materials) needed to achieve them, and schedules tasks so that work is completed on time
Is attentive and shows interest in the subject; Expresses ideas clearly and accurately
Ability to establish an effective demeanor and communication to influence one’s point of view

We anticipate that this person will be most effective onsite at our office in the North Loop area of Minneapolis Monday-Thursday due to the work style of the existing team. The person in this role will routinely work remotely most Fridays, and we will consider an additional routine remote day during the week after initial training is complete. That being said, we do understand that some days are more productive remotely, and we offer additional remote flexibility as needed. Note that parking is paid for by Media Bridge when employees are required to work onsite.
