About The Role
Role: PR, Social Media, and Business Development Intern
Reports to: PR Coordinator
Purpose: The primary responsibility of a Lola Red Intern is to support the PR and Social teams on account and departmental tasks, and support the VP of Growth in new business opportunities. Grow your skills in a fast-paced hands-on agency environment.

50% Account Execution 50% Department Support
Responsibilities:
Account Support
Prepare and disseminate information regarding client’s organization through relevant media
Support in the execution of strategies and tactics in client plans and campaigns
Write press releases on behalf of client
Create media briefs
Coordinate press kits and samples to media as requested
Create pitches w/guidance of manager
Secure media stories
Reporting on results
Content creation
General social content creation assistance on Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok as needed
Assistance on newsletter and blog creation
Community management
Research on client industries and current trends
Support on client reporting needs
Department Support
Research new media contacts and maintain database accuracy
Take notes in meetings
Monitors media for trends, new opportunities, and possible issues
Administrative tasks as needed (couriers, communication, scheduling, etc)
Continuously seek knowledge — workshops, publications, networks, professional societies, etc
Tracks personal hours and expenses
Generate weekly recaps on social and digital trends
Support on department reporting platforms
Requirements & Soft Skills
Ability to juggle multiple tasks, adaptable
Ability to receive direction from multiple individuals
Superb time management and taskmaster skills
Strong attention to detail
Effectively manages priorities and deadlines
Communicative and proactive
At least one prior internship in marketing, media relations, communications industries (preferred)
Timeline: 40 Hours per week for 3 months with the opportunity to extend and/or hire full-time
