Position Description:
You are detail-oriented and efficient. You’re personable and able to build trust and confidence in your teammates and clients alike. You’ll embrace clients’ goals like they’re your own with passion and insight by growing, shaping and maintaining your client’s reputation and brand. You have communications and PR writing experience and are passionate about building relationships.

Essential Responsibilities
• Draft press releases, pitches, case studies, white papers, and media summaries
• Build relationships with new media contacts and maintain relationships with existing contacts
• Identify and build relationships with influencers and thought leaders
• Manage media requests in a timely and professional manner
• Pitch story ideas and content to media
• Ensure all communication is cohesive with the brand image
• Track and analyze media coverage to inform future campaigns
• Measure PR program impacts using regular reporting
• Organize, schedule, and prepare key leaders for press interviews and content opportunities
• Support for the content team as needed across copywriting channels including social media, email, blogs and podcast, and influencer support
• Manage media lists and release distribution

Experience and Skills Needed
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field
• 3-4 years of experience in public relations or corporate communications
• Excellent organization skills
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Strong working knowledge of a variety of public relations programs
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and execute successful public relations campaigns
• Ability to work independently
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• MS Word, Excel®, PowerPoint® and Outlook® skills

Educational Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field
