About The Role

As the Senior Director of Data Analytics, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of data-driven insights, models, and strategies across the organization, including Marketing, Product Development, and lines of business. Your primary focus will be to leverage data, models, and advanced analytics to drive business growth, shape the marketing and product strategies, and enhance decision-making across various segments. You will manage a team of data analysts, data consultants, and data scientists who will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and recommendations for performance improvement.

This person will: 

Be responsible for building, leading, and developing a high-performing team of data analysts, data scientists, and data consultants.
Facilitate the development of robust business intelligence tools and strategies to optimize usage and deployment of resources to drive business value, including enabling analytics to more effectively find insights that lead to quicker action and better financial performance.
Partner to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of annual planning efforts, strategic initiatives, marketing programs, and/or new product/feature launches. They will create 1-on-1 marketing optimization applications to deliver the right offer to the right customer at the right time to deepen, acquire, and retain customer relationships, and be responsible for creating a higher Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, pricing, marketing, sales, finance, and digital to identify opportunities for leveraging data insights to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and improvement within the data and analytics team. Encourage the adoption of best practices, new methodologies, enhanced modeling techniques, and emerging trends in the field.
Present insights, findings, and recommendations to senior executives and c-suite stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner. Be able to effectively communicate complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Be responsible for predictive modeling strategy, development, compliance, and implementation for Marketing, Product, Pricing, Distribution, etc. They will also work to develop a machine learning computational environment and framework for speed-of-business development.
Develop and maintain automated reporting frameworks and data visualization tools to present key insights and trends in a clear and concise manner, and enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions through intuitive and actionable dashboards.
Partner with the data management/architecture team to create the right environment and platforms to improve accuracy, efficiency, and financial impact of taking information from data to insights to action.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related discipline Required. Master’s Degree in forementioned areas Preferred.
10+ years data analytics and/or data science experience Required.
5+ years’ experience leading teams including the hiring, development, and coaching of various levels of colleagues Required.
5+ years experience with and proficiency in advanced analytics tools such as Python, R, SAS, and SQL Required.
5+ years’ experience with and proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI Required.
5+ years statistical modeling and machine learning experience, Preferred.
2+ years financial services or banking experience, Preferred.
2+ years marketing analytics experience, Preferred.
