Senior Paid Search Strategist
Are you obsessed with all things Google, YouTube and Amazon? Do you see paid search as more than an advertising opportunity but a platform for robust business, brand and audience insight? If so, we have the perfect career opportunity for you.

We’re on the search (pun intended) for an experienced hands-on keyword guru to join Colle McVoy’s established paid search practice. The ideal candidate will deliver both on recommending paid search strategy and managing campaigns across multiple clients as well as delivering search-based thought leadership to the media department and agency at large. While dedicated to paid search, we’re also seeking someone who understands performance media and is curious, collaborative, outgoing and passionate about not only about their craft but all things media, data, marketing and culture.

– Manage day-to-day SEM responsibilities across multiple clients and engines and platforms (Google Ads, MSA, etc.) This includes keyword creation and optimization, ad copy creation, A/B testing, and keyword bid management.
– Manage day-to-day Google Ads products (YouTube, Performance Max, Shopping, etc.).
– Train and mentor junior team members on best-in-class execution, management, and insights on paid social platforms
– Collaborate with media strategy/planning teams to advise, create and manage paid search media recommendations across multiple clients
– Provide client reporting and insights based on client goals
– Partner with our SEO specialists and Data Science team on holistic search recommendations (organic, paid) and campaign insights
– Develop and facilitate external media partner relationships
– Proactively report on leading search-based tools/platforms to evolve agency capabilities and expand cross-discipline education
– Report on industry trends and provide point-of-view documents to internal and external teams
– Partner with Insight (brand strategy), Data Science and Brand Leadership (account management) teams to create paid search-based audience and campaign insights
– Working within our Digital Media Activation and Investment team, help with actively grow the agency’s paid search practice and expand the internal team

Required Skills:
– Minimum 5-year paid search experience, preferably agency side
– Experience with multiple SEM platforms and products
– Strong experience in Excel, PowerPoint Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics
– Google Search Certification preferred
– Confident and resourceful, can function with minimal supervision
– Eager to learn within a collaborative team setting
– Has excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
– Able to multi-task and prioritize effectively

– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
– Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
– Ability to travel as needed
