About The Role

Do you love finding innovative ways to bring brand strategies to life? Using consumer insights to connect with audiences in a meaningful way? The Land O’Lakes Engagement Strategy team is looking for an experienced engagement strategist to lead our channel strategy discipline forward.


As a key player within the strategic engagement team, you will be responsible for partnering with our marketing and broader business teams to develop the channel strategies for various marketing programs, in addition to leveraging customer journey insights to enhance the end-consumer experience of these channels. We are looking for a strategist who can not only develop these strategies, but also influence key internal stakeholders to adopt, and ultimately drive business outcomes. Partnership and integrated collaboration with our technical channel experts, both internal and agency, will also be a key. To succeed, you’ll need a strong business acumen, the ability to create and sell a vision, and the ability to bring those strategies to life in an integrated way to ensure all consumer touchpoints come together around that vision.

Desired Experience and Education:

6+ years of experience developing strategic engagement plans

A B.S. or B.A. Degree in Marketing, Journalism, or equivalent experience in a related field.

Familiarity with core marketing tactics and technologies, including email, site, search and social platforms

A mind for translating data into meaningful business insights and strategy

Strong influential, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

Experience working with broad spectrum of both internal team members and external vendors/partners

A resourceful nature. When something needs to get done, you always find a way to make it happen while balancing multiple projects with tight deadlines
