You can be the guiding hand in launching sophisticated marketing programs that helps employers find much needed talent and candidates find meaningful employment.
Project Planning – the moment you hear of a new opportunity with a new or existing client, your head starts populating Gantt charts of the tasks and timelines needed to meet and exceed client expectations. You’re the type of person who uses project management software for household chores or planning vacations.
Project Management & Coordination – you love organization and probably own a label maker. To you, project management is more than a task list. You manage projects by utilizing teamwork and communication to vet and manage resources based upon timelines. You coordinate the moving pieces smoothly – but when friction arises you have agile and thoughtful solutions/ideas. You deliver because you know how to get things done.
Digital Marketing Tactic Knowledge – you understand the dependencies needed to execute digital marketing tactics based on strategic plans created by our amazing Strategists and Account Managers. You know how to translate the strategy roadmap into actionable steps needed to deliver a killer product (e.g., brand guidelines, buyer journeys, websites, automated campaigns, etc.)
Teamwork & Communication – “on track” is your middle name. You love working with a team and you probably coach kids’ soccer (bless you). You bring efficiencies in communication and accountability to the table that work for the betterment of the agency, the clients, and the team.
Process Process Process – what’s better than a well thought out and executed workflow? A well-documented one. You make sure that what we do is documented and improved upon every time.
In this role, you will:
Analyze project strategy to determine requirements and prepare related budgets and schedules
Own client communication, setting and meeting expectations for delivery, for the duration of the project
Provide end-to-end project management including assigning deliverables, managing deliverables, confirming all needed work is completed, quality checked and delivered on time and on budget
Oversee (peer review) work created by team members, freelancers, and shared resources
Collaborate with Account Managers and Strategists to drive service and quality worthy of referral
Seek opportunities for improvement within the team and drive innovation in process improvements
Establish relationships as a valued partner with clients and internal team members
Be a champion of quality for the client and be accountable for delivering excellence
Work on multiple clients, including leading complex digital marketing initiatives, within a shared resources model
Lead projects spanning a wide variety of digital marketing programs such as brand development, web site building, social media management, paid media campaigns, marketing automation, data enablement, and technical implementation
Manage third-party vendors including website development and freelance creative resources
Contribute to strategic growth of the organization and brand positioning for the firm overall
To excel in this role, you are:
An experienced digital marketing project manager (5+ years of digital marketing agency experience)
A proactive planner, looking out way past one week
Anticipating client needs, addressing resource gaps, never letting a client wonder what happens next and when
Able to take a strategic plan and transition it into a project plan because you have a sound understanding of digital marketing tactics and the steps to complete them
Experienced with multi-project/multi-client management and resource allocation planning
Proficient in software like Asana and MSOffice/ PowerPoint
A great team player and coach, people want to work with and for you
A superb planner
Detail-oriented and task-driven but flexible and creative with solving problems
Creative in developing and delivering solutions to the client to keep within scope
Constantly driving process improvement, developing efficiencies, and implementing quality improvement measures
Ready to excel in a high-growth marketing agency
A pro at communicating complex messages simply and directly and matching multiple audiences with appropriate message and tone of voice
Great at reading a room and leading conversations to a successful conclusion efficiently
Able to set and deliver on expectations with internal team members and clients
