About The Role

The Vice President of Account Management is an experienced marketing professional who will lead the account management team at Collective Measures. The VP is a primary point of leadership and decision making for all client relationships and will be accountable for the health of the client relationships to agency leaders. The VP will embody a competitive spirit for the agency, our clients, and our work.

This role includes successful leadership and management of the entire Account Management team, including career development, resourcing and hiring. The VP must adeptly navigate internal agency responsibilities, including facilitating effective communication across the agency, as well as representing CM to clients, prospects, industry peers and community members. The VP will have strong financial acumen with experience pricing, pitching and winning, and managing digital marketing relationships. This person has more than 12 years of professional experience and is required to have digital marketing experience.

_RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Effectively lead the account management (“AM”) team as demonstrated by client satisfaction, company portfolio retention and increase in existing client revenue;
-Manage, mentor & develop staff with consistent performance management policies, feedback and opportunity for escalating responsibilities;
-Develop and maintain ongoing client management processes to deepen client trust and broaden the agency’s purview/stature within the client organization;
-Provide oversight to client budgets and firm profitability;
-Serve as an expert on the client’s business and industry alongside others on account management team;
-Uncover opportunities and grow organic business through consistent delivery of excellent work and opportunity identification;
-Review and manage client projects with internal teams at major milestones and on final deliverables to ensure CMmeets client objectives and strategy set forth initially;
-Provide final approval on key client initiatives, presentations and work output;
-Recommend and lead process innovation, reflecting best practices for the industry and best use of resources for the agency;
-Make recommendations regarding work allocation and team assignments;
-Ensure the executive leadership team is updated regularly on clients’ business across the agency;
-Deliver quarterly business reviews with team leaders with a POV on how teams are functioning, delivering, excelling, having challenges, to continually improve client relationships and internal team functions;
-Identify key projects/work that should be shared via case studies;
-Forecast revenue with senior agency leaders;
-Oversee development and usage of briefs for client work;
-Other responsibilities as assigned.

_REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

-Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field;
-12+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years’ experience in an agency environment with digital capabilities;
-8+ years of experience as a leader, manager and champion of staff development;
-Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients and projects within the agency’s diverse portfolio;
-Passion for advertising and digital marketing;
-Confident and authoritative while also genuine and authentic;
-Ability to form genuine relationships internally and externally;
-Diplomatic, effective communication style in providing strong POV and sharing information and decisions on behalf of the agency;
-Able to work with broad spectrum of people – senior to junior level, multiple mindsets and levels of familiarity with digital marketing;
-Skilled in presenting to senior level clients and large room of people;
-Ability to inspire people to do great work;
-Ability to sell a point of view or ideas through storytelling.

_PHYSICAL / COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS: (without accommodation or with reasonable accommodation)

-Ability to sit for extended periods of time;
-Ability to use a keyboard and telephone;
-Proficient computer skills; strong skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint & G Suite.
