About The Role

This editorial position provides writing and editing services to advance the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency’s communications goals and strategies. The person in this position is responsible for planning, writing, editing, and publishing content for the agency’s external websites and will support content development for email, documents and reports, and other projects. This individual will lead the editorial planning team to ensure consistency and coordination among earned, owned, and paid media. As lead writer and editor for web content, this position coordinates with communications teammates and internal partners to ensure web copy is accurate, engaging, and written for web audiences. In supporting agency-wide use of mass email, this individual advises on list management distribution strategies. The position is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the agency’s style guide and working with internal audiences to ensure adherence through proofreading services and advisement.
